“Build your own ecosystem” – that’s the main purpose of KOBIL Systems’ ecosystem platform mPower. With KOBIL mPower, customers can drive forth the digitization of business processes. KOBIL mPower is a platform which contains security, communication, signature and business process functions in order to allow customers to implement their own use cases and products by relevant configurations.
KOBIL mPower consists of KOBIL mIDentity, KOBIL mChat, KOBIL mSign and KOBIL mSafe.
KOBIL mIDentity
KOBIL mIDentity helps protecting sensitive corporate business data and workflows even when being accessed by mobile devices from the public internet. KOBIL mIDentity is the basis of all other mPower features and provides a secure and liable web-identity, strong authentication and login, single-sign-on (SSO) and transaction signing functions. Thus mIDentity ensures the binding, clear and unique identity of users, processes, systems and things (IoT).
KOBIL mChat
KOBIL mChat is a messaging system with a state-of-the-art user interface for company’s internal and external usage. Users can chat with each other in a “messenger-style” and send files like photos, pdf-files or any documents. The whole messaging infrastructure is operated under full control of the company. Files which are sent in mChat messages remain always encrypted unless they are viewed in the secure user interface. Users can send messages to services, other users or user groups. Sending messages is not limited to users only: services can send message to users or user groups or to other services as well.
KOBIL mSign
KOBIL mSign is a feature to manage liable and secure pdf document workflows in a company either between users or between services and users. KOBIL mSign is based on mIDentity and mChat and thus provides its functionality in a messenger-style manner. Users included in the workflows can create pdf documents, send PDF documents to other users to fill out and sign them, defining an end-to-end secured workflow for the documents. Documents are taken either from users or back end systems and send back to users or back end systems.
KOBIL mSafe
KOBIL mSafe is a secure manner to store relevant data in – like a personal private box which protects users’ and systems’ data against theft, eavesdropping, manipulation and misuse. KOBIL mSafe is based on mIDentity and mChat and stores the data either in local databases (provided by the operator of mPower) or in cloud-based file hosting services. In any case all the data is always end-2-end encrypted. KOBIL mSafe also provides functions to access the personal data.
